Great Fun at the AEMA Indian Wells Golf Tournament

Saturday, April 6th, 2013

Once again we played in the AEMA Golf Tournament at Indian Wells Golf Course in Palm Springs, CA. In addition to spectacular mountain views, this Celebrity Course features rolling fairways, and flowing water in the form of streams, brooks, and split-level lakes connected by striking waterfalls surrounded by beautiful flowers and landscape. From start to finish, the Celebrity Course offers an unmatched golf.

The weather was absolutely perfect that day.  We were paired with a couple who were beginning golfers. A best ball tournament is so much fun for beginners. It takes the stress away and allows for tons of fun. We finished in the middle of the pack which we felt okay about.  I, however, won women’s closest to the pin. The pin placement was behind a tall bunker with little room to run. It’s super fun when you hit a good tee shot when it counts.  I’ve won this before but with an ugly but effective shot.  Pretty shots are so much better.

We always enjoy this tournament seeing people we only see once a year, but have been seeing for over 20 years. Our golf ball collection from these trips is fun to look at and add to every year when we get home.

Memories is what collecting is all about.
